A. Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego is pleased to announce its 6^th Annual “Dream House Raffle” fundraiser.  This year’s grand prize is an exquisite $1.8 million San Diego coastal dream home. For the winner, it could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in an exquisite 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath, 4,294 square ft. house with a pool and an ocean view. For just $150, adults (18 years and older) may enter to win the grand prize or a variety of other prizes.

 

A. Ronald McDonald House of San Diego is a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children being treated at San Diego area hospitals. 

 

A. 100% of the funds generated from the Dream House Raffle benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego (RMHC-SD), which provides a "home away from home" for families while their child is treated for serious, often life-threatening illnesses in local hospitals. The Dream House Raffle over the past five years has allowed us to serve thousands of families. 

 

A.  For eligibility requirements and complete rules, please see the Official Rules. Individuals who are 18 years of age or older may enter RMHC-SD Dream House Raffle. RMHC-SD employees, members of the board of directors, authorized agents and employees thereof, consultants, attorneys, independent accounting firms, and their spouses and children living in the same household are excluded from participating and are not eligible to win a prize. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. The raffle is void where prohibited or restricted by law. An affidavit of eligibility may be required from prize winners.

 

A. The raffle ticket price is $150 each and no more than 40,000 tickets will be sold. Entrants may purchase as many available tickets as they like.

A.   Tickets can be purchased by phone with a credit card by calling 1-888-433-0331, or fill out a ticket entry form and return it to RMHC-SD.  Ticket entry forms can be printed through the Dream House Raffle web site (Click Here), or visit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego.

A. No, individuals need not be present to win, but must provide photo identification and their ticket number for verification.

 

A. Prizes will be distributed after the grand prize drawing on June 12, 2010. Additional prizes will be awarded throughout the raffle and will be announced on the following dates:

 

1^st Prize: 2010 Toyota Prius or $25,000 cash

2^nd Prize: Sea Doo Speedster or $10,000 cash

3^rd Prize: Vespa Motor Scooter or $5,000 cash

 

1^st Prize:  Super Bowl XLV Package or $15,000 cash

2^nd Prize: Greek Cruise or $10,000 cash

3^rd Prize: Cabo San Lucas Vacation or $5,000 cash

4^th Prize: $1,000 Southwest Airlines Gift Certificate

5^th Prize: $1,000 Southwest Airlines Gift Certificate

6^th Prize: $1,000 Southwest Airlines Gift Certificate

7^th Prize: $1,000 Southwest Airlines Gift Certificate

2^nd Prize: European Vacation or $10,000 cash

3^rd Prize: Hawaiian Vacation of $5,000 cash

 

Every individual who buys more than one ticket will be entered into a special Multi-Ticket Drawing for $45,000 in luxury prizes. Entrants that purchase two tickets will receive two entries into the Multi-Ticket Drawing. Entrants that purchase three tickets will receive three entries into the Multi-Ticket Drawing etc.

 

1^st Prize: 2010 Smart Car or $15,000

 

A. All tickets must be purchased or postmarked by May 28, 2010. If all 40,000 tickets are sold prior to that date, ticket sales will cease. The drawing will be held on June 12, 2010, at the new Ronald McDonald House, 2929 Children's Way, San Diego, CA 92123.

 

A. The 2010 Dream House Raffle grand prize is a $1.8 million, 4,294 square-foot, 6 BR, 6.5 BA coastal San Diego home with an ocean view or $1.5 million cash. The grand prize will be announced on June 12, 2010. Additional prizes will be awarded prior to the grand prize.

 

A. Early Bird prizes are available to participants who buy their tickets prior to the deadlines listed on the Prizes page. All ticket buyers who purchase before these dates are automatically entered into each Early Bird Drawing available from the time they purchase. If ticket buyers are entered into Early Bird Drawings and/or win a drawing prior to the grand prize drawing, participants are still eligible to win the grand prize.  For a list of all prizes see above or visit the Prizes page.

  

A. Winners of RMHC-SD Dream House Raffle will be contacted via the information given at the time tickets were purchased. A list of prize winners can be found after each drawing on the Dream House Raffle website- Winner List. Participants may also request a list of winners by sending a self-addressed and stamped envelope to RMHC-SD at 2929 Children’s Way, San Diego, CA 92123 within one week of the grand prize drawing.
